Story | Girdy was just one of a litter of five from my neighbors free-roaming, unfixed female dog. When the puppies were around six weeks old, the man who owned them shot three out of the litter, keeping Girdy along with another male litter mate for his daughters. However, the mother and the two pups, along with an adult pit mix also owned by my neighbor, constantly raided the neighbors trash, including our own, and became such a problem that my neighbor considered shooting all of his dogs. I quickly offered to take both puppies, and he gave them to me. However, a week later they came to my home and stole the male pup from his tie out in my yard. Luckily Girdy was in the house, and I never asked them to explain themselves as I didn't want to cause problems. I kept Girdy as my own, had her spayed and vaccinated, and she's been my sweetheart ever since. She's spoiled rotten by my fiance and me.
